There are four models to choose from, the Rio 1, Rio 2 and top-of-the-range Rio Graphite, plus the Special Edition Rio Strike. Take a look at the facelift Rio stylish new tiger-nose- grille (designed by Kia design chief, Peter Schreyer), body coloured bumpers and black bezel restyled headlights.
On the inside the Rio has a superb standard specification, including a newly designed four-spoke steering wheel taken from the Kia Soul range, with the convenience of a tilt adjust function, CD audio with MP3 player and 60:40 split folding rear seats.
The Rio has a choice of two engines, either the 1.4 litre petrol, including an automatic option, or 1.5 litre diesel (CRDi). With prices starting at just £7,655 OTR* and a £35 annual Government Vehicle Excise Duty on the CRDi version, the Rio style is surprisingly affordable.
